Circa 1999. Yes, I'm reading Harry Potter. Yes, my dog is my pillow. And yes, I know my socks don't match my pyjamas.

Who am I?

I am curious. Ever since childhood, I have taken a keen interest in the world around me, through reading and asking questions, but primarily by getting involved in a variety of activities and pursuits. This has shone through in both school and work environments where I constantly strive to get involved, and to learn and apply that learning as much as I can. It is incredibly motivating for me when I look back on the progress and contributions I've made to my work.

I am persistent, and always strive to act with integrity. My principles guide me; at the end of the day, I need to know three things:
1. That I put the effort in.
2. That I was respectful and friendly to everyone.
3. That I'm one step closer to my goals.

What I'm Doing

I am currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Marketing Management at Seneca College, where I am also involved in the Seneca Leadership Program and volunteer with Seneca Works. I hope to begin a career in market research post-graduation.

How I Got Here

I completed my BA at McMaster University in Multimedia in 2013, after which I worked as a freelance multimedia artist completing various graphic design, website and 3D modelling contracts. Through my freelance work, I completed a graphic design project for an engineering firm and landed a job there in their marketing department (I say department, but I was the only one in the department).

I didn't expect it, but I realized over the course of the three years I worked there that I loved marketing. It's a perfect blend of creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking, and I can't wait to see where it takes me over the course of my career.
